Project Assurance Director Job Description

The role is a senior leadership position overseeing and managing project monitoring, reviews, and assurance for the region. It involves leading project delivery in a controlled manner to meet stakeholder expectations and realize program benefits.

  • Lead the oversight and management of project monitoring, reviews, and assurance for the region.
  • Review, appraise, and monitor project performance for both Regional and Country managed projects, including assessment of benefits, necessity, technical feasibility, and commercial viability.
  • Ensure timely review of project performance against stakeholder expectations regarding time, scope, and budget.
  • Lead the development of project and change management processes, activities, and methods for the region.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in IT projects within the Financial Services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration or project management.
  • Proven leadership experience in project management, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Current Project Management Institute certification or equivalent, or in the process of obtaining one.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
