Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance and Control Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in offshore power plant fabrication. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards that meet industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain inspection and test plans (ITP), including witness points and hold points.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure fabricated components meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Manage and coordinate QA/QC activities, including inspection, testing, and certification.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with project stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in offshore power plant fabrication or shipbuilding industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, including ISO 9001.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Accreditation/Certification:

ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor Certification is highly desirable.
