As the Jacket Fabrication Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the fabrication activities related to jacket structures in offshore projects. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution and completion of jacket fabrication works, meeting project objectives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The incumbent will lead a team of fabrication professionals, providing technical guidance and coordination throughout the fabrication process.

The responsibilities of the Lead (not limited to) the followings:

- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop project plans and schedules for jacket fabrication activities.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure timely availability of resources, materials, and equipment for fabrication activities.
- Supervise and manage the jacket fabrication process, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety of fabrication activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues, resolve technical challenges, and provide technical guidance to the fabrication team.
- Conduct regular progress meetings, provide feedback, and facilitate communication among team members to ensure efficient project execution.
- Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests of fabricated jacket components to identify and address any non-conformities or deficiencies.
- Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with documentation and record-keeping requirements as per project and organizational standards.

Qualification and experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications or additional training is a plus.
- Proven experience in jacket fabrication, preferably in offshore projects within the oil and gas or renewable energy industries.
- Strong knowledge of jacket fabrication processes, techniques, and materials, including relevant codes and standards.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under pressure.
