Environmental Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Health and Safety Manager to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS procedures, policies, and programs specific to offshore power plant fabrication.

  • Develop project-specific EHS plans in collaboration with the project team.
  • Ensure effective integration of EHS considerations into project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

EHS Program Development and Implementation

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS procedures, policies, and programs that meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Conduct risk assessments for high-risk activities (working at heights, HV systems, heavy lifting).
  • Investigate incidents/near-misses using Root Cause Analysis methodologies.

Compliance and Documentation

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager will ensure 100% compliance with local EHS laws and client contractual requirements.

  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, including incident rates, near-miss incidents, and audit findings.
  • Manage permits, inspections, and audit records using digital EHS platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement

The successful candidate will collaborate with contractors, clients, and regulators to resolve EHS concerns and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

A degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in energy or infrastructure projects is preferred. Knowledge of offshore power plant fabrication processes and associated hazards is essential.
