- Assist the lab manager in overseeing laboratory operations and technical matters.
- Support lab teachings throughout the academic year, including supervising undergraduates and postgraduates on safety training and other SOPs requirements.
- Perform lab requisitions via Ariba for faculty members and researchers, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and certified.
- Responsible for lab asset management, ensuring assets are properly accounted for and documented.
- Lead in internal/external audit preparation, ensuring lab documents are up-to-date and organized.
- Degree in relevant engineering disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and protocol, especially on materials characterization.
- Knowledge in ISO45001, Risk Management, and WSH requirements.
- Knowledge in SAP Ariba, IBM Workday, and Office 365 suites.
- Analytical, good observational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Resourceful and able to support part-time classes.
- Operational knowledge of various mechanical testers and conventional machining is a plus point.
