Job Overview:

About the Role

The Referral Reading Officer plays a vital role in supporting the Admins and Psychologists within the SpLD Assessment Services team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Answer queries on admissions and psychological assessments, referring to management where necessary.
  2. Conduct screening and profiling for individuals at risk of dyslexia.
  3. Facilitate SAS processes in registration, referral reading, preparation of letters, and placement of children into DAS programmes and services.
  4. Receive referrals, enter details into the student management system, and forward to Psychologists for action.
  5. Request and follow up with reports from external agencies.
  6. Assist with appointment registration.
Work Environment

As part of our dedicated team, you will contribute to providing support to students and families in need. Our assessment centre conducts over 800 psychological assessments each year.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
