ARS Organization - Advanced Recording Subsystem inclusive of Head/Media recording (Electrical and mechanical), Read Channel and preamp. This Organization works on the development of Disc drive key enablers for Disc drive productization.

Read Channel team - Read Channel is a Mixed Signal (Analog/Digital) ASIC Chip in the disc drive electronics. The task for Read Channel engineer is to integrate Read Channel ASIC to perform Read/Write of data to the magnetic media and implement new Channel features into the product

**About the role - you will**:

- Support integration of Read channel electronics into magnetic recording systems for disc drives
- Design experimental tests and resolve technical issues in design and production. Development of Read Channel optimization and error recovery procedures.
- Interact with different function teams members in Disk drive development to understand system level technical requirements and designs
- Contribute to overall Product development, design and enhancements to meet Time to market and achieve highest capacity.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated flexibility to contribute to multi-disciplinary projects
- Demonstrated combination of leadership and strong teamwork skills applied to initiate, execute, and collaborate on significant projects

**Your experience includes**:

- Bachelor or master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Knowledge of recording subsystems including heads, media, read channel and preamp will be advantageous
- Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and waveform generators.
- Knowledge of Programming language C, Matlab, Python is an added advantage
