Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

This role involves providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of electrical and mechanical facilities throughout the hotel. Responsibilities include assisting engineers with daily duties, performing routine maintenance tasks, and responding to equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist engineers in carrying out daily shift duties efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Identify and respond to equipment failures promptly
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas, mechanical, and electrical rooms
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum secondary education
  • At least 1 year of experience in hotel maintenance
  • Experience in electrical or plumbing is advantageous

Hotel Operations


Electrical Systems Maintenance

The maintenance specialist is responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning properly. This includes identifying potential issues before they become major problems.

Service and repair low-tension switchgears under supervision

Additional responsibilities may include taking readings for electrical systems, water, and air-conditioning systems.


Maintenance Work Orders

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist must complete maintenance work orders from all departments in a timely manner. This requires following standard operating procedures and maintaining accurate records.

Carry out inspection on public areas, mechanical and electrical rooms

The maintenance specialist will also be responsible for clearing obstructions in sewer, waste pipes, soil channels, and grease interceptor systems.

Equipment Operations

The maintenance specialist will maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.
