Community leadership plays a pivotal role in shaping the development and delivery of impactful programs that prioritize trauma-informed approaches.

This position oversees the design, implementation, and monitoring of such initiatives to ensure therapeutic outcomes and program effectiveness.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Program Development & Delivery:
      • Develop and execute programs that integrate trauma-informed principles, focusing on therapeutic outcomes and program success.
      • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitoring their implementation as necessary.
    • Strategic Outreach & Partnership Building:
      • Design and implement trauma-informed outreach strategies to engage with government agencies and community partners.
    • Staff Development & Supervision:
      • Provide trauma-informed supervision to staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Research & Evaluation:
      • Conduct research centered around youth voice, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform program design.
    • Financial Management:
      • Manage divisional finances with transparency and accountability.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Social Sciences and at least 5 years of experience in managerial/leadership roles, preferably in settings focused on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences
  • At least 5 years of experience in managerial/leadership roles
  • Experience in trauma-informed care settings preferred
