Regional HR Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Director to join our organization in a strategic leadership position. This role will be responsible for driving transformation, employee engagement and operational excellence across the region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR leadership roles, with experience from the Education & Training sector being an advantage. They will have 15-20 years of HR Generalist experience, prior experience leading large teams and managing diverse workforces. The successful candidate will also have a solid understanding of HR systems and data analytics, as well as excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Singapore, with regional coverage across several key Asia markets. As Regional HR Director, you will assume full ownership of the HR strategy across Asia, encompassing Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Compensation & Benefits + HRIS and Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional HR strategy working closely with the Group CHRO
  • Lead a closely knit and collaborative HR team to build and hone a culture where HR effectively partners with and supports the business
  • Partner closely with C-suites and managers to gain a deep understanding of the business and support the business strategy through workforce planning, succession planning, talent pipelining and optimization of HR processes
  • Ensure all HR processes adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies

Ideal Profile:

  • Seasoned, strategic and hands-on HR leader with a proven track record in HR leadership roles
  • Experience from the Education & Training sector is an advantage but we welcome HR-director level candidates with relevant prior experience
  • 15 to 20 years of HR Generalist experience in mid to large size organizations ideally 1,000+ employees and prior experience leading large teams
  • Experience managing diverse workforces, leading change management and process transformation, solid understanding of HR systems and data analytics
  • Relevant degree, strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders, ability to build trust and foster empathy inclusion and collaboration
