Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our team at Ocean Network Express (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. as a Key Account Manager for our NVO (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and optimize our key account portfolio to drive business volume and profitability for the NVO segment.
  • Sales Efficiency: Continuously improve sales productivity and efficiency globally, ensuring delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) in terms of TEUs (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units) and contribution margin.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.
  • Tender Management: Develop and implement strategies to negotiate and manage global tenders to achieve maximum returns in multiple trade lanes and contributions.
  • Account Management: Maintain high-quality account business information in our CRM system for analytics and business insights.
  • Customer Segmentation: Develop and implement customer segmentation strategies to augment our corporate portfolio compatibility.
  • Digital Solutions: Actively promote e-commerce and digital solutions to drive our digitalization strategies and enhance customer engagement.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist in other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies or Shipping-related disciplines.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in container shipping, preferably with experience in managing global and/or regional forwarding accounts.
  • Skills: Proven sales execution ability, problem-solving, and negotiation skills; excellent communication and presentation skills; strong analytical skills and ability to identify market opportunities.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly motivated individual with a result-oriented and resilient approach; ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications and experience with CRM tools and knowledge in Google suite apps will be an added advantage.
