About the Role:

This is a senior-level role that requires in-depth knowledge of application systems and their operating environments. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to drive stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and business support for users of various applications
  • Maintain application systems that have completed the development stage and are running in daily operations
  • Manage, maintain, and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against service level expectations
  • Perform same-day risk reconciliations and develop and maintain technical support documentation
  • Identify ways to maximize the potential of the applications used and assess risk and impact of production issues
  • Escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner and ensure that storage and archiving procedures are in place and functioning correctly
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5-8 years of experience in an Application Support role
  • Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications
  • Knowledge of programming languages and willingness/ability to learn
  • Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and issue tracking and reporting using tools
