Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical and business support for users of various applications.
About the Role:This is a senior-level role that requires in-depth knowledge of application systems and their operating environments. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to drive stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide technical and business support for users of various applications
- Maintain application systems that have completed the development stage and are running in daily operations
- Manage, maintain, and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against service level expectations
- Perform same-day risk reconciliations and develop and maintain technical support documentation
- Identify ways to maximize the potential of the applications used and assess risk and impact of production issues
- Escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner and ensure that storage and archiving procedures are in place and functioning correctly
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5-8 years of experience in an Application Support role
- Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications
- Knowledge of programming languages and willingness/ability to learn
- Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
- Demonstrated analytical skills and issue tracking and reporting using tools
