Job Description

At OCBC Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Premier Banking Relationship Manager to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our Premier Private Client & Premier Banking Asia team, you will be responsible for acquiring and prospecting new Premier Banking Offshore customers from the North Asia market, with a focus on Japan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively acquire and prospect new Premier Banking Offshore customers from the North Asia market, with a focus on Japan.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing affluent customers through professional consultative financial analysis.
  • Contribute to the bottom-line of Premier Banking through the accomplishment of profit and growth targets.
  • Manage relationships with new and existing affluent customers through regular market information updates and trend analysis.
  • Up-sell, cross-sell, and provide regular market information updates and trend analysis to these customers.
  • Ensure superior customer service and contribute to the overall customer experience of Premier Banking.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the banking and financial services industry, preferably in managing the affluent segment.
  • Experience in covering the North Asian markets with a focus in Japan.
  • Recognised university degree and possess CMFAS certification (RES1B, RES2B, RES5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI).
  • Sound knowledge of banking products and services, including investment products such as unit trusts, bancassurance, and treasury products.
  • Multi-lingual and able to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Drive to succeed and focused on achieving sales quota and revenue.
