Community Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Engagement Manager to lead our InCommunities initiatives for the AWS Data Center Community in Singapore and South Korea. This is a strategic role that will allow the right candidate to make a significant impact in supporting the AWS business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead InCommunities in Singapore and South Korea, designing and executing programs and events that have a lasting impact in the communities we live and work.
- Provide vision for the community engagement initiatives across the region, and manage these initiatives with extreme attention to detail and a high bar for quality.
- Communicate the impact of InCommunities programs internally and externally, representing AWS Infrastructure publicly in meetings with key stakeholders.
- Serve as the region's Issues Manager, proactively addressing internal and external issues that pose reputational risks to AWS and business objectives.
- Support community assessment in the region, identifying potential community-related risks and developing a community engagement plan to proactively mitigate the risks.
- Capture data to demonstrate community engagement's quantified and qualified impact on AWS Infrastructure, its employees, and the community, and communicate these values internally and externally.
- Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, real estate, energy, water, sustainability, construction, human resources, legal, public policy, and public relations to deliver results.
- Be physically present in locations, roll up sleeves, and get work done when required.

Requirements- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units.
- 6+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree preferably in Development Studies, Public Policy, or Management.
- At least 5+ years of Public Affairs or Community Engagement experience working with corporates.
- Project Management Experience.
- Working knowledge of Korean Language is desirable.
