Executive in Charge of Business Continuity
Role Overview:As the executive in charge of business continuity, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to strengthen the bank's operational resiliency and business continuity management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement BCM programs to enhance emergency response, crisis management, and business resilience capabilities across the organization
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement digital transformation initiatives that uplift the bank's operational resiliency and business continuity capabilities
- Engage stakeholders to ideate, plan, and implement solutions to enhance BCM processes
- Manage day-to-day maintenance of applications, including troubleshooting issues raised by users
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure effective use of application systems and services
- Coordinate BCM efforts at the group level to develop effective group BCP recovery and response strategies, including third-party business resilience
- Support the development of organization-wide BCP exercises, validate the effectiveness of BU/SU BCP, monitor, and track BU/SU BCP improvement plans
- Develop and execute training and awareness activities to raise BCM competency among staff
- Minimum 10 years of experience in banking, with working knowledge of key functional processes, systems, and resources, including audit and banking regulations
- Excellent organizational skills, strong analytical/problem-solving ability, and leadership skills
- Able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments for a holistic view to manage technology and group responses during incidents
