Science Outreach Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Science Outreach Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of our institution through effective science communications and outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement science outreach programs, workshops, and community events to promote our institution's research and achievements.
  • Collaborate with researchers and faculty to sustain and develop outreach programs and materials.
  • Write and edit clear, engaging summaries of scientific work, research highlights, and profiles for a general audience.
  • Design and produce internal and external communications about our programs, research, students, faculty, and alumni.
  • Create compelling content to promote our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, showcasing key achievements and features.

Requirements:

  • Degree in science, engineering, or communications fields.
  • Experience in marketing communications or media, with proven skills in writing and editing.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
