Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to lead initiatives that generate and engage with business partners, driving new business opportunities for our organization.

This role demands strong negotiation skills, a proven sales track record within the freight forwarding industry, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on achieving measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify potential clients and untapped partnership opportunities
  • Hunt, win and generate business leads through network, cold calling and leveraging CRM tools
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to win new business
  • Build new relationships in an effort to grow business and help expand our operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to move them through the sales funnel while addressing their logistics needs
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' prior industry-related business development experience
  • Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and land freight solutions
  • Proven sales track record in business development and execution of successful development strategies
  • Working knowledge in freight forwarding and/or logistics-related operations and selling process
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Proactive, independent, and ability to multi-task and work in a matrix-reporting environment
  • Possess a high level of integrity and ethics
  • Good team player
