The Singapore Red Cross Society is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Donor Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase blood donations from the national pool of donors. Your primary objective will be to engage corporate, government, and community organizations to educate, recruit, retain, and recognize blood donors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gain an in-depth understanding of Bloodmobile Organiser portfolios, including identifying past collection trends and collaboration histories
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote blood donation and organize blood drives in the community
• Undertake outreach and engagement activities towards expanding the partner base, including conducting educational talks in schools, community organizations, etc
• Serve as the focal point for all public enquiries and represent the Singapore Red Cross at public and external events as required
• Co-lead the volunteer programme, including recruiting, engaging, mobilizing, and managing our volunteer pool
Requirements:
• Degree in any discipline
• Two years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated interest in the non-profit/charity sector
• Familiarity with the blood donation landscape and donor behavior in Singapore
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor key messages and adopt different approaches for different audiences
• Business-level proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work on weekends/public holidays as required
