Job Title: Technical Lead Manager, Robotics Grasp Planning

As a seasoned expert in robotics perception and grasp planning, we seek an exceptional leader to spearhead our team's efforts. The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of advanced algorithms that enable robots to understand their environment and interact effectively with objects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge perception and grasp planning algorithms.
  • Guide the technical approach for enhancing grasp planning efficiency using perception data.
  • Direct the creation of methodologies and tools for generating synthetic data for training manipulation models.
  • Mentor engineers and researchers to foster technical growth and expertise in robotics manipulation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate perception and grasping capabilities into the platform.
  • Oversee testing and validation of robotic manipulation systems in simulation and on hardware.

Requirements:

  • A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in robotics software development or research.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience leading a team of engineers or researchers.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python.
  • Knowledge of robotics perception or manipulation algorithms.
  • Experience working with robot hardware or simulation environments.
