The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of advanced algorithms that enable robots to understand their environment and interact effectively with objects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cutting-edge perception and grasp planning algorithms.
- Guide the technical approach for enhancing grasp planning efficiency using perception data.
- Direct the creation of methodologies and tools for generating synthetic data for training manipulation models.
- Mentor engineers and researchers to foster technical growth and expertise in robotics manipulation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate perception and grasping capabilities into the platform.
- Oversee testing and validation of robotic manipulation systems in simulation and on hardware.
Requirements:
- A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in robotics software development or research.
- Proven leadership skills with experience leading a team of engineers or researchers.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python.
- Knowledge of robotics perception or manipulation algorithms.
