Freight Operations Coordinator

  • Manage global freight operations, ensuring seamless fulfillment of orders and shipments for customers worldwide.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of regular and pre-orders shipments, collaborating with service providers to resolve in-transit issues.
  • Partner with vendor management to raise and resolve vendor-related compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with the Freight team to explore solutions and innovate around operational constraints.

Responsibilities:

  1. Port-to-door/door-to-door freight operations including shipping documentation and administration (invoice validation, document archiving, TMS management).
  2. Timely delivery of both regular and pre-orders shipments, liaising directly with service providers to resolve in-transit issues.
  3. Collaboration with Freight team members to explore solutions and innovate around operational constraints.
  4. Maintain strong communications with the wider organization, ensuring relevant stakeholders are updated on Freight-related matters.
  5. Partner with Vendor Management to actively raise & resolve vendor-related e.g. non-compliance with SOPs, container space allocation failures etc.

Requirements:

  • Experience handling inbound and outbound shipments (FCL/LCL) along with shipping documents such as BL, PL, CI.
  • Solid understanding of Shipping Incoterms (i.e FOB, DDP, DAP).
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in Business Operations/ Supply Chain/ Logistics, or a relevant field.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

Bonuses:

  • Work experience in operational logistics, shipping, freight forwarding industry is a major plus.
  • Experience in the ecommerce/ direct-to-consumer industry.
