Singapore GFS GLOBAL FREIGHT SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the Seafreight operations team in the company
- To manage the suppliers/vendor of the Seafreight operations
- To review and improve on Seafreight Import & Export processes and workflow
- Lead operation team to meet the company’s goals and KPIs set
- To provide freight planning and work on cost-effectiveness to improve Seafreight GP
- To coordinate and execute the cross trade business of other countries related to Singapore's business
- To review, align and keep Superior updated on operational issues and performances indices such as space management, resources management and operating procedures
- To ensure all procurements are in compliance and file up proper administratively
- To ensure a consistent, high-level of freight operations performance across the network
- To support the network/agent business in response to quotes and information as and when required
- To support the Commercial department in quoting process in large tenders or projects
- Ad hoc duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma or above in Supply Chain/ Logistics Management or other related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry will be added advantage
- Strong knowledge of Seafreight Operations and Procedures
- Experience in Cargowise will be an added advantage
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Positive mindset, confident and able to contribute positively within a reputable growing group
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
