Mobile Network Optimization Expert Required

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RF Engineer to perform 4G/LTE drive tests and optimize network performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing field measurement activities, analyzing network KPIs, troubleshooting coverage/quality issues, and providing recommendations to improve the mobile network experience.

The successful candidate will conduct 4G/5G drive tests using industry-standard tools and equipment, collect and validate RF performance data, analyze drive test logs, and generate detailed reports highlighting key findings, issues, and recommendations.

In addition, they will identify and troubleshoot RF issues such as coverage gaps, interference, call setup failures, and poor handovers, work with optimization teams to fine-tune network parameters, and benchmark operator networks against competitors to assess quality of service (QoS).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with drive test tools, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel and perform extensive fieldwork.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in RF engineering, specifically with 4G/5G drive testing.
  • Hands-on experience with drive test tools (e.g., TEMS Investigation, Nemo Outdoor).
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and produce actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
