Job Title: Facilities Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the management of our facilities. This key role exists within our organization to ensure the smooth operation of our physical spaces.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Project Management: Plan, execute and coordinate new and ongoing projects ensuring compliance with relevant laws, codes and company policies.
  • Communication Planning: Establish effective project communication plans ensuring their execution.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee all properties ensuring maintenance, inspection and upkeep are completed as required.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate manage and monitor contracts with third-party contractors and service providers for facility-related projects.
  • Repair and Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate repairs and maintenance of physical structure systems and equipment.
  • Cost Savings Identification: Identify cost-saving opportunities and advise on measures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Lease Management: Monitor leases ensuring renewal agreements occur in a timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Prepare accurate records correspondence and files for assigned projects.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Establish good working relationships with landlords contractors and other parties involved.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with government regulations health and safety legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Educational Qualification: Minimum Diploma in Business Project Facilities or Property Management.
  • Work Experience: Equivalent work experience in property and/or project management considered.
  • Relevant Work Experience: 2 years relevant work experience.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Operational Policy Compliance: Proven ability to comply with operational policies procedures building codes local regulations.
  • Linguistic Ability: Must be able to read write and speak fluent English.
