  • As a key member of our corporate strategy team, you will be responsible for identifying and executing strategic acquisition opportunities that drive growth and expansion.
  • You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that achieve our business objectives.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of the financial services and fintech industries, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Success in this role will depend on your ability to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified acquisition opportunities, conduct initial outreach and engage in discussions with potential target companies, and lead financial, operational, commercial, and strategic due diligence efforts.
  • You will also be responsible for coordinating internal and external stakeholders during due diligence and negotiation phases, preparing investment memorandums, business cases, and presentation materials for executive and board approval, and supporting deal structuring, negotiation, and closing activities.
  • Additionally, you will play a key role in post-merger integration plans, monitoring and reporting on integration progress and key performance indicators to ensure delivery of intended synergies.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, value creation, corporate development, or management consulting.
  • Proven track record of executing M&A transactions from sourcing to integration.
  • Experience with post-merger integration work is helpful.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills, and comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong familiarity with and interest in the financial services and fintech industry.
  • Execution-oriented and enjoys working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Based in Singapore but willing to travel regionally when required.
