The role of a BIM Manager is crucial in ensuring that Client Employers Information Requirements (EIR) and Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) are effectively implemented on site.


This position involves overseeing the implementation of EIR and BEP to guarantee alignment with contractors' and sub-contractors' BIM teams, as well as coordinating infrastructure and facilities in BIM Models prior to actual works commencement.


The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and updating shop drawings and construction drawings in BIM models before actual work commencement, working closely with project teams to review BIM models and relevant deliverables submitted by contractors.


The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaboration and presentation purposes. Additionally, they should have successfully implemented BIM Company Deployment Plans and Project BIM Execution Plans for at least 2 projects.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing EIR and BEP on site to ensure alignment with contractors' and sub-contractors' BIM teams.
  • Coordinating infrastructure and facilities in BIM Model before commencement of actual works.
  • Reviewing and updating shop drawings and construction drawings in BIM models prior to actual work commencement.
  • Working with project team to review BIM models and relevant deliverables submitted by contractors.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues submitted by contractors with stakeholders and project team.
  • Reporting progress and status regarding BIM implementation and contractor submissions.
  • Facilitating and chairing BIM workshops and meetings.
  • Ensuring asset data requirements support FM & O&M digital handover.
  • Providing accurate as-built models for related infrastructure and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture or equivalent.
  • Completed certification course in BIM Management.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience with proficient BIM Software skills and 5 years of site supervision experience.
  • Familiarity with various engineering aspects e.g. Civil, Structural, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaboration and presentation purposes.
