Junior Pastry Chef/Baker Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to work in our kitchen, passionate about baking and creative with an interest in French Patisserie. The ideal candidate is willing to learn and grow with the team, taking on more responsibility in the future.

This role involves assisting the head chef in preparing pastries, baking independently, executing consistent recipes and presentation, and maintaining proper handling and storage of food products. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining workstations clean and tidy with proper hygiene, minimizing wastage and spoilage of ingredients, and ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

The requirements for this position include being a Singaporean or Local candidate, having at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in French baking techniques. Training will be provided, but a strong passion for baking is essential. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during peak hours, and possessing a valid food hygiene certificate is advantageous.
