Culinary Artist

As a skilled culinary artist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes following established recipes and standards. You will work closely with the head chef to manage kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food is served to our guests.
You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of ingredients, such as garlic, ginger, chili, and herbs, and portioning and plating steamed, roasted, or poached items according to guidelines.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health & safety at all times and supporting the senior cook in daily kitchen operations.
Food preparation involves preparing and cooking a variety of items following establishment recipes and managing ingredient preparation and station end-to-end.
Inventory management includes taking responsibility for ordering certain inventory types when needed.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as a North Indian cook and possess good knowledge of Indian spices and masala.
Able to work on shift duties, weekends, and public holidays. A certificate in culinary arts is preferred.
Must be able to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and move around the kitchen handle food, objects, products, and utensils.
