Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Airfreight Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As an Airfreight Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods by air, from pickup to delivery. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely and efficient transportation of cargo, while also maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with overseas entities to ensure smooth shipment handling and detail handling of shipments.
  • Respond promptly to all customer inquiries, prioritizing responsibilities and urgency of shipments.
  • Process job file closings on a monthly basis.
  • Investigate root causes of incidents and service failures.
  • Check AWB/BL and other necessary shipping documents, providing feedback to customers and overseas agents if discrepancies or non-compliance issues arise.
  • Verify the validity of both buying and selling rates, ensuring all shipments are at a profitable margin.
  • Obtain confirmation from sales for commercial decisions involving negative figures.
  • Review and confirm draft debit notes from suppliers, ensuring correct application of rates quoted to customers.
  • Provide flight/vessel details, monitor shipments, and provide timely feedback to customers on freight status.
  • Ensure compliance with customers' SOPs and shipment handling requirements, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor Purchase Orders (POs) from activation, coordinating with origin and destination offices to ensure seamless shipment handling.
  • Check open PO reports, activating shipments if included in the list, or obtaining approval from customers if not.
  • Arrange with Destination Office to create PO jobs in the LINK PO Module, mass uploading POs into LINK using customer templates.
  • Receive JF numbers and planned pick-up dates from Origin, linking JF and PO systems via the LINK PO Module.
  • Provide weekly reports and attend weekly meetings with relevant customers under their affiliates.

Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE 'O' level qualification.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
