Pool Guardian

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool users. This includes ensuring the pool area is well-maintained, clean, and free of hazards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain vigilant supervision of students in and around pools to prevent accidents and ensure their safety.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lock unsupervised gates at the 50-metre pool and infant pool to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Clear the pool of students after each session and maintain cleanliness of the surrounding area.
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations, reminding swimmers of safety practices and guidelines.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established emergency procedures.
  • Inspect and maintain pool equipment to ensure it remains functional and accessible.
  • Display professionalism in appearance, conduct, and communication at all times.
Requirements:
  • Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., National Lifeguard/Equivalent).
  • Valid CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant lifeguard experience preferred.
  • Strong awareness of water safety and emergency response protocols.
  • Ability to stay alert, observant, and responsive in all pool situations.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit with strong swimming and rescue skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate with other staff members.
