Job Description

As a ServiceNow Platform Specialist, you will play a crucial role in configuring and managing the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal functionality and performance. You will investigate and diagnose issues, identify root causes, and provide timely support to end-users by resolving issues and handling tickets as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, manage, and maintain the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  • Investigate and diagnose issues, identify root causes, and provide timely support to end-users by resolving issues and handling tickets.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow team members to assist in platform upgrades, apply patches, and develop workflows.
  • Conduct testing and contribute to solution development for platform enhancements.

Platform Health and Performance

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining core data on the platform (users, groups, locations) and overseeing overall platform health and performance to address issues proactively.

System Testing

Participate in system testing for service request workflows, automations, configurations, and other development work to ensure quality and reliability.

Reporting and Analytics

Create and update system design documents, knowledge articles, test scripts, reports, and dashboards to meet stakeholder and business requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; 8 to 11 years of ServiceNow administration experience.

Proficiency in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Knowledge, Role Management, ACLs, user management, and group management.

Knowledge of JavaScript, GlideScript, REST, XML, and other relevant technologies; experience in ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and report creation.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the ITIL framework for service management; ability to adapt to different time zones based on project requirements.

Experience with SOX-enforced policies and working in regulated environments.

Certifications such as ServiceNow Developer, ServiceNow System Administrator, and CSM are advantageous.
