Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, with experience in implementing and maintaining effective EHS systems, procedures, and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective EHS management system that meets company requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate potential EHS hazards and risks, and develop corrective actions to address any non-compliances.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of EHS performance, including incident reports, near misses, and other related data.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement EHS-related projects and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations, laws, and industry standards, and implement new procedures and protocols as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS management, with a strong background in implementing and maintaining effective EHS systems, procedures, and programs.
  • Proven track record of improving EHS performance through the implementation of effective EHS systems, procedures, and programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex EHS data and develop effective solutions to address any non-compliances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
