EHS Leadership Position

This role is responsible for leading a team of professionals to ensure the effective implementation of environmental health and safety management systems within an organization.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective EHS policies, procedures and guidelines;
- Provide leadership and guidance to EHS team members on their roles and responsibilities;
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement;
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives;
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance EHS knowledge and skills;
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and trends;
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in EHS management and hold relevant certifications such as WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or Safety Officer Training Certificate. Experience in auditing, risk management and stakeholder engagement is also highly desirable.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or related field;
- WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent certification;
- Proven track record of success in EHS management, including experience in developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures and guidelines;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable recommendations;
- Experience in using EHS software and technology platforms.
