Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

 

  • Maintains and evaluates the effectiveness of our organization's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management System by overseeing EHS administrative processes, including procedures and manuals.
  • Supports EHS maintenance based on ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards, as well as customer requirements.
  • Participates in and coordinates EHS-related audits, including safety audits, CERT audits, and customer audits.
  • Supports internal and external EHS audits, follows up with corrective measures, and communicates with stakeholders.
  • Develops and conducts EHS-related training, briefings, and toolbox meetings, and provides EHS orientations for new staff members.
  • Utilizes various Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) tools and resources to implement WSH programs and drive compliance.
  • Analyzes problems and values teamwork and collaboration to find solutions.
  • Communicates the importance of WSH program compliance to team members and other departments.
  • Supports and conducts workplace risk assessments and environmental impact assessments, and related training.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in WSHO-related disciplines with 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good team player, independent, proactive, and positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and reporting writing skills.
  • Good knowledge of government authorities' requirements.
  • Ability to interpret Risk Assessment Registers requirements.
  • Computer literate.
