Customer Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused sales assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, promoting products, and building relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a polite and professional manner.
  • Provide product information and recommendations on halal frozen food items.
  • Operate the Point of Sale cashier system and handle payments accurately.
  • Restock freezers, shelves, and maintain product displays.
  • Check and monitor product expiry dates and freezer temperatures.
  • Assist in unloading, receiving, and storing deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store at all times.
  • Follow all food safety, halal handling, and health guidelines.
  • Host regular live-streaming sessions to showcase and demonstrate company products.
  • Engage and interact with viewers during live streams, answering questions and providing product details in an entertaining and informative manner.
  • Promote special offers, discounts, and campaigns to encourage purchase conversions.
  • Create product-related content for social media platforms to increase brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to plan live content, scripts, and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor live stream performance metrics and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate representation of products and adhere to company branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Stay updated with trending topics and apply them creatively to attract more viewers and followers.

Requirements:

  • Retail or F&B experience is a bonus (but not required – training will be provided).
  • Willing to work weekends and public holidays on a roster basis with an 8am to 6pm shift.
  • Friendly, honest, and customer-oriented.
  • Must be respectful of halal food handling procedures.
  • Proven experience as a live streamer, online promoter, or sales representative is a plus.
  • Comfortable and confident speaking on camera to a live audience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing and selling principles.
  • Familiarity with social media platform features and trends.
  • Ability to create engaging scripts and content ideas.
  • Results-driven with a passion for sales and customer engagement.
