Job Title: Longevity/Commissioning Superintendent

  • Our team requires an experienced engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of steam plants, regas plants, and cryogenic equipment.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning and testing complex systems, as well as troubleshooting automation issues.
  • Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining high-pressure steam plants, hydraulics, and cryogenic pipes, ensuring all safety protocols are met.
  • Experience with risk assessment, fault finding, and implementing solutions is essential.
  • A strong understanding of Class requirements and ability to prepare vessels for seaworthy sailing is crucial.
  • Expertise in handling and repairing high-pressure steam plants and hydraulic systems is a must.
  • The ideal candidate will also be familiar with various ship/shore and FSRU/power-ship safeties during continuous cargo/gas transfer operations.
Requirements:
  • Extensive yard experience carrying out dry dock of many LNG ships, carrying out Gas freeing and cooldown operation of cryogenic tanks.
  • Expertise in handling cold test of new cryogenic line. Making Risk assessment & implementing the same.
  • Hand on experience for fault finding and troubleshooting the automation at site & during commissioning of Regas/ Power plants.
  • Preparation of vessel to make seaworthy & smooth sailing. Meeting all requirement of Class.
  • Expert at handling & repair work on high pressure steam plant (Boilers/turbines) 60 bar,525 deg C.
  • Hands on experience at handling & repairing high pressure 50 ~ 60 bar hydraulic systems.'
  • Hand on experience in repairing & managing cryogenic pipes.
