Drive Growth in Aerostructures Aftermarket Sales

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Sales and Business Development expert to drive growth in our aerostructures aftermarket sales of major components, spares, and MRO business for assigned regions and customers.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns to grow Aerostructures aftermarket sales of major components, spares, and MRO business.
  • Advance and secure long-term agreements and contracts with key customers.
  • Market and push major component sales through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Cultivate and capture MRO sales opportunities by providing value-added solutions.
  • Influence airlines' provisioning decisions for piece parts through strategic negotiations.
  • Lead initiatives pertaining to modification, upgrades, and retrofits to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage surplus trading to grow incremental revenue streams.
  • Craft and deliver presentations and lead sales negotiations with customers.
  • Organize and participate in marketing events and activities to promote Aerostructures products.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop close customer intimacy and manage assigned accounts/regions to ensure excellent customer experience and service.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with key customers/contacts through regular communication and visits.

Business and Market Acumen:

  • Analyze and understand market trends to identify sales opportunities and leads.
  • Ensure financial targets such as sales revenue, EBIT, and margins are actively monitored and met.
  • Generate timely and constructive reports to inform business decisions.
  • Create business cases and models to highlight value propositions and drive sales growth.

Customer Support:

  • Formulate pricing for customer quotations based on market analysis and product knowledge.
  • Provide 24/7 AOG support to airline customers to ensure minimal downtime and maximize revenue.
  • Work closely with Aftermarket Spares and MRO functional teams to deliver winning solutions and meet customer needs.
  • Assist in accounts receivables due to ensure timely payment and cash flow management.
  • Extensive traveling is required (~50%) to engage with customers and partners across various regions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of aerospace industry experience in Business Development, Sales, or Customer Support roles.
  • Possess extensive industry contacts and a successful sales track record in Asia Pacific region.
  • Experience in Oceania region will be advantageous.
  • Display good business acumen, strategic agility, and leadership qualities to drive team success.
  • Communication skills – both written and verbal – are vital prerequisites for this role.
  • Fluency in Asian languages other than English is advantageous.
  • Prior knowledge of nacelles and composite structures is a plus.

Average Salary: SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
