Job Title: Channel Sales Expert
Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Channel Sales Expert to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our channel sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expansion.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, and system integrators.
- Collaborate with partners to build joint business plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing partners to maximize their performance and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Provide partners with sales support, product training, and marketing resources to enhance their sales capabilities and drive revenue growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries, escalations, and conflict resolution, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Work closely with partners to identify opportunities and close deals, leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge to drive sales success.
- Support joint customer engagements, presentations, and demonstrations, showcasing the value proposition of our solutions and building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Monitor partner pipeline, forecast accurately, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform sales strategies and optimize results.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and support, to ensure partner success and drive overall business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development in the software/IT industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets through channel partners.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, SaaS, or cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings, events, and joint sales activities.
