Job Description:

The Front Office Professional plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless operations within the hotel's front desk department.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently check-in and check-out guests, adhering to hotel standards and procedures.
  • Handle all front office cashiers' transactions, including posting charges to guests and exchanging foreign currency.
  • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to guests, whether by telephone or in person.
  • Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum O levels or WSQ Front Office Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
  • Prior experience in the same capacity or any other hospitality related capacity advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Operational knowledge of front desk operations, Opera, and Micros is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
