Job Overview

Our ideal candidate will spearhead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects within the LNG sector. This role demands exceptional leadership skills, combined with experience in managing diverse teams.

  • The successful Project Manager will develop and execute project plans to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • They will collaborate seamlessly with engineering firms and suppliers to facilitate efficient communication and process flow.
  • Effective inventory management is crucial, as is monitoring warehouse processes.
  • The Project Manager must ensure seamless collaboration among logistics, purchasing, agency, and shipyard during equipment dispatch.
  • Supporting field teams by monitoring pipe works on ships is also essential.
  • Preparing engineering projects for FSU, FSRU, FRU, and LNG investments related to LNG and NG fields requires meticulous attention to detail.
  • Market research to find alternative suppliers for equipment on projects is another key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will check production processes to ensure harmony among shipyard, subcontractor, and permanent staff according to project plan.
  • Engineering drawings must be created in relevant standards, and any nonconformities identified and addressed.
  • Weekly and monthly project progress reports are necessary to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Pre-checks for commissioning operations and coordinating processes require strong organizational skills.
  • Delivering products bought from suppliers to subcontractors, performing construction, and installation operations are critical tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of materials arriving on behalf of owners, storing materials under appropriate conditions, and keeping inventory records are vital responsibilities.
  • Joining FAT and SATs, preparing necessary reports, and checking technical appropriateness of materials to be purchased or coordinated procurement of suitable technical materials are all part of this role.
  • Occupational Health and Safety and Environment Management Systems must be effectively controlled, prevented, acted upon, and improved in project fields.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; an MBA or master's degree is highly desirable.
  • At least 10 years' experience in LNG sector project management roles is required; preferably with expertise in oil & gas & LNG engineering and project management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills are mandatory.
  • Very good command of MS Office Applications is expected.
  • High level of presentation skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills, outstanding influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills, strong critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills are all essential.
  • Financial understanding and business acumen are highly valued.
