Job Description:

Lead commercial activities for LNG carrier projects.

Manage all commercial aspects, including contract handling and coordination with stakeholders.

Provide commercial support and review key contractual agreements.

Evaluate robust contract governance and compliance with contractual obligations.

The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of LNG carrier operations, chartering agreements, and shipbuilding contracts.

They possess strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional duties may include willingness to travel for meetings or business development activities and performing other ad-hoc assignments as required by the department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of LNG carrier operations, chartering agreements, and shipbuilding contracts.
  • Preferably some relevant working experience in either LNG, Oil, LPG or Oil industry.
  • Familiar with OPEX tracking, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash flow (e.g., cash waterfall).
  • Strong written and verbal skills; able to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to travel as needed.
Stakeholder & Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders including LNG charterers, sellers, and buyers.

Organize and lead regular commercial and operational meetings with charterers and other stakeholders.

Business Development & Market Analysis:

Support marketing initiatives for LNG tonnage as needed.

Conduct market research to track industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the LNG shipping sector.

Contribute to the identification and development of new business opportunities aligned with company strategy.
