Project Manager

Job Overview:

  • The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within the LNG sector. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with engineering firms and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and process flow.
  • Monitor warehouse processes and ensure proper inventory management.
  • Ensure effective communication among logistics, purchasing, agency, and shipyard during equipment dispatch.
  • Support field teams by monitoring pipe works on ships.
  • Prepare engineering projects for FSU, FSRU, FRU, and LNG investments related to LNG and NG fields.
  • Assist in finding alternative suppliers through market research on equipment for projects.
  • Check production processes to ensure harmony among shipyard, subcontractor, and permanent staff according to project plan.
  • Ensure engineering drawings are done in relevant standards, report, and correct possible nonconformities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
  • Perform pre-checks for commissioning operations and assist in coordinating processes.
  • Deliver products bought from suppliers to subcontractors, perform construction, and installation operations.
  • Keep records of materials arriving on behalf of owners, store materials under appropriate conditions.
  • Keep inventory records and report them.
  • Join FAT and SATs, prepare necessary reports.
  • Check technical appropriateness of materials to be purchased, coordinate procurement of suitable technical materials.
  • Control, prevent, act, and improve activities related to Occupational Health and Safety and Environment Management Systems in project fields.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve mutual goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. An MBA or master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years' experience required, preferably in LNG sector project management roles.
  • Experience in oil & gas & LNG engineering and project management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Very good command of MS Office Applications.
  • High level of presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Outstanding influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.
  • Strong critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Financial understanding and business acumen.
