Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd., is currently looking for an experienced LNG Chartering Manager to join our dynamic team in Singapore, taking part in shipping operations of our growing business in the LNG industry.

**Background:
JSC Novatek is the largest private owned gas company in Russia. Today it is the major shareholder of Yamal LNG project, Arctic LNG 2 and are also a shareholder and offtaker of the small-scale LNG plant in Vysotsk. The LNG production is expected to grow rapidly with upcoming LNG projects.

Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd. is the trading company for JSC Novatek’s LNG with rapidly growing LNG volume to trade, there will be a substantial requirement for shipping.

**Main Responsibilities:
- Work and plan with traders, operations and management to develop yearly and future shipping strategy.
- Negotiation of spot or longer-term contracts as required.
- Monitoring and following of the dynamics of the shipping market and identify potential opportunities.
- Work closely with operations and support the team to resolve commercial issues.
- Follow up of executed contracts.
- Gather and register key information.
- Production of reports when required and presentation within the company.
- Reporting to Head of Shipping & Chartering based in Singapore.

**Basic requirements/capabilities**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Charterer or Ship Broker with shipping education preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (close co-operation internally with Traders, Operators, Finance as well as contact with external parties such as Ship Owners, Charterers and Brokers on a daily basis).
- Flexibility and creativity in thinking.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written - company language is English), knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel when required.
