**LNG Engineering Superintendent**:
**Job Responsibilities**:
**LNG Engineering Superintendent Job In Singapore**:

- Acts as Technical Manager of assigned LNG vessels, responsible for day-to-day oversight of vessels
- Oversees the on board technical team, providing engineering advice and performance management
- Ensures implementation of action plans for maintaining vessel operational readiness and functional integrity
- Executes major overhaul and or shipyard projects as project manager
- Leads both OPEX and capital expenditures (CAPEX) vessel projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Ensures accuracy of CMMS system data, optimizes usage of system functionality and supports continuous improvement
- Monitors and ensures safe operations in compliance with procedures and regulations
- Executes contracts and approves work of service companies
- Coordinate’s maintenance/operation of vessels to ensure alignment with commercial objectives
- Oversees annual budget adherence and participates as part of the management team in developing the budget
- Effectively networks/liaises with internal and industry stakeholders to enhance vessel performance
- Acts as lead contact for flag and port state, and other regulatory groups

**Skills**:
**Required Qualifications**
- Hold a Marine Engineering License as Chief Engineer for steam propulsion or equivalent professional qualification
- Relevant experience as senior ship’s engineer on LNG vessels and/or similar shore based experience
- Good language and communication skills
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform vessel inspections
- Working knowledge of marine practices, regulatory requirements and industry standards

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Shore based experience in Technical Management of LNG vessels
- Seagoing experience as Chief Engineer on Steam turbine LNG vessel

**Relocation Options**:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
