Job Title: Technical Superintendent

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Superintendent who can drive continuous improvement in themselves and others.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LNG vessel operations, with experience as Chief Engineer or over 3 years experience as senior engineer on LNG Motor vessels.

A valid Engine COC holder is also required.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the cost-effective maintenance of LNG vessels and their equipment, monitoring and maintaining vessel deck and engine planned maintenance systems, coordinating the supply of stores, supplies, spares, and consumables, executing technical modifications for projects, managing vessel budgets and operating expenditure, planning and coordinating technical repairs during projects, assisting in controlling and monitoring costs relevant to the technical department, verifying documentation and certifications of new buildings/deliveries, leading accident/incident investigations related to technical matters, carrying out annual vessel technical inspections/audits onboard as scheduled, and participating in interviews and making recommendations regarding new-hires and promotions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of ISM, EMS, PMS, Repairs, and Dry-Docking repairs.
  • Good technical knowledge about various marine machinery.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, time management, project management, and decision-making skillset.
