Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Specification Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong network connections within the A&D community, with a proven track record of project and specification closure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sales executives to meet targets and enhance productivity.
  • Drive sales performance by securing high-value projects through effective specification strategies across multiple product categories.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, establishing strong relationships with potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and brand visibility.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with architects, designers, developers, and key decision-makers in the built environment sector.
  • Ensure successful product specification in key projects, tracking the entire lifecycle from lead generation to project completion.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role within the building materials or architectural products industry with a proven sales track record.
  • Strong understanding of product specifications and project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical information effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, developers, and main contractors.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performance sales teams.
  • Sales-oriented individual with results-driven approach and passion for exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and project tracking tools.
