Housekeeping Operations Manager

Hong Hoy Consultancy PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our premises.
Key Responsibilities- Task Assignment and Quality Control: Assign housekeeping tasks to staff and conduct regular inspections to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
- Scheduling and Staff Management: Schedule staff shifts and organize replacements as required to ensure seamless operations.
- Complaint Resolution: Investigate and address complaints regarding poor housekeeping service in a timely and professional manner.
- Training and Development: Provide training to housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Inventory Management: Regularly take inventory of cleaning supplies and order stock as needed to maintain optimal levels.
- Supply Chain Management: Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Staff Recruitment and Development: Screen housekeeping applicants and recommend promotions, transfers, and dismissals based on performance and merit.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Perform various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages to ensure continuity of service.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to housekeeping staff to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Front Office Operations: Assist with front office duties as required to ensure seamless operations.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to manage administrative tasks and reports.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all housekeeping activities are carried out in accordance with established quality standards.
- Literacy and Communication: Excellent literacy and communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and clients.
- Housekeeping and Sanitation: Strong knowledge of housekeeping and sanitation practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Ability to manage inventory and supply chain operations to ensure optimal levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- VIP and Property Management: Assist with VIP and property management duties as required to ensure seamless operations.
- Counseling and Conflict Resolution: Provide counseling and conflict resolution support to housekeeping staff as needed.
- Pressure and Scheduling: Ability to work under pressure and manage scheduling tasks to ensure seamless operations.
- Screening and Turnover: Screen housekeeping applicants and manage staff turnover to ensure continuity of service.
- Hospitality and Customer Service: Provide excellent hospitality and customer service to clients and staff.
