The Singapore Swimming Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the operations of the housekeeping department. Key Responsibilities- Departmental Operations: Manage and control the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Budget Management: Oversee the departmental budget, ensuring that all expenses are within approved limits and that the department operates within its allocated resources.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure that the standard of cleanliness and maintenance of the Club's facilities is maintained at all times, including the upkeep of pest control, washroom hygiene, and plants and floral arrangements.
- Contractor Management: Coordinate the activities of contractors and ensure that contract specifications are complied with.
- Purchasing and Inventory: Coordinate purchases with suppliers, control requisitions such as uniform and toilet supplies, and prepare monthly inventories.
- Staff Performance: Evaluate the performance of subordinate staff and encourage them to develop positive work habits and attitudes.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.
- Qualifications: Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity
- Personality and Attitude: Pleasant personality and good working attitude
- Work Schedule: Must be able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Working Hours: 7.30 am to 4.30 pm, 11 am to 8 pm, 3 pm to 12 midnight
