Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies that drive equipment reliability and uptime.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. They should possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop creative solutions.

Additionally, the selected candidate will need to demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to guide and develop a team of engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans to achieve factory equipment reliability targets
  • Provide technical expertise to support the department in maintaining and improving equipment uptime and reliability
  • Act as deputy for the Maintenance Manager when required
  • Own and manage maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in engineering or a related field
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or automation environment
  • Experience in TPM implementation is preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is an added advantage
