Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance strategies for equipment and machinery to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and rectify technical issues with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems in CNC machines and other apparatus.
  • Assist with the setup and activation of new equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and manuals.
  • Ensure adherence to strict health and safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
  • Recognize areas for improvement and introduce modifications to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and handle procurement as required.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to achieve operational objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance engineering in a related field.
  • Good understanding of CNC machines (Fanuc control) and PLC programming.
  • Proficient in AUTOCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingsness to work outside regular hours if necessary.
