Job Title

Develop and deliver effective teaching and mentoring programs in advanced manufacturing, driving student learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging curriculum, incorporating hands-on experiences and project-based learning.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to design and deliver impactful consultancy projects, promoting students' lifelong learning needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, facilitating regular attachments and experiences.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in precision engineering, CAD/CAM, CNC machining, or quality management are highly desirable.
  • At least 3 years of experience in precision engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proficient in mechanical engineering design with hands-on experience in CAD modelling and simulation (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), as well as manufacturing environments involving CAM programming and CNC machining.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies, including industrial robots, collaborative robots, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), is a plus.
  • Experience with data analytics and related applications is desirable.
